Electric field

Electric field is space around an electrically charge body that causes other electrically charged bodies lying in the space to undergo electric force.

Electric field can be drawn by imaginary lines called field lines. Like figure.

 

The strength of electric field produced by source charge (Q) can be represented by using a quantity of electric field strength (E). the mathematically can be determined by equation as follows:

Q = charge (C)

R = Distance (m)

K = Konstant of coloumb force = 9 x 10⁹ Nm²/C²
